July 23rd 2005. (Updated) Validation

We have increased the amount of validation in the main data collection area. Now delegates that change flights more than 4 times are marked as may change again. This should help organisers and suppliers to predict who may change their data on site.

August 10th 2005. (Planned) increase in delegate list key data slots.

At the moment a delegate list can have 6 columns of data. First Name Last Name Email Address Billing VIP and Unique ID. In fact there should really be an option to have more fields. However displaying that data is the problem. We are working on a simple way to do with that's not confusing.

September 3rd 2005. (Planned) New Type Template

In order to simplify the deployment process even further, we are currently developing an email template that will include a short form. While this will not effect the larger more complex meeting planning, it will radically shorten the creation time for simple events, by effectively combining time spent in the reg form and email template section. Now to deploy a small event users simply create one template, upload one list and compile.

An example would be when a company or organisation simply need a yes or no answer. The delegate or guest simply click their acceptance to attend the event or meeting. This will go a long way to further reducing time spent for organisers that plan and deploy different types of event, and add to and increase the amount of easy to use options that the system currently has.

Jan 23th 2006. (Planned) HTML Form upload.

At first we never thought this would be possible, or if it was it would be far to time consuming and complicated. Basically we now know that it will be possible for HTML users or for example your web designer to create a form. No mapping or coding required, just the plain HTML which as many web people will know is 10% of the job. Our system does the rest, all the field mapping and coding will be done automatically.

This changes the landscape dramatically for you and us. It means for non HTML users that we can create custom forms for you in 5% of the time we thought it would have taken before, also no templates to worry about the form can look exactly how you like.

We hope this development will be ready by the middle of this year as a Beta version and will be an integral part of the system by the latter part of 2006.
